In this class we use a yoga hammock / silk sling and work through the entire body in a flowy, relaxing and restoring matter. The silk hangs from the ceiling creating a U shaped swing, and with this silk swing we can work on endless shapes, acrobatics, balance, strenght and flexibility. It's a super fun, challenging way to work out your entire body. We bring in elements from yoga, pilates, dance and calistenic to this low impact workout. In this particular class we will mimic and replica many movements from surfing. The goal is to gain more muscle memory that can help you in the surf as well. Sometimes its hard for beginner surfers to practice becuase we dont get a lot of time on the surfboard in the water, on a wave. So anythign we can do outside of the water that can help us improve our surf movements is a good practice. We hope this class will help you get those waves you want!
